Conditions
Conditions we treat
Every condition has a root cause. We find it with objective assessment — not guesswork — and build a programme around your specific numbers.
Knee
Knee Pain
Knee pain is one of the most common complaints we see at Stance — affecting runners, gym-goers, office workers, and post-surgical patients alike. The knee rarely fails in isolation; the cause is almost always found above or below it.
ACL Injury
An ACL injury — whether partial tear or complete rupture — is a serious setback. But with the right phased rehabilitation, most athletes return to full sport. We guide you through every stage.
Meniscus Tear
Meniscus tears are common in both acute sport injuries and in the general population through degeneration. The majority of degenerative tears do not require surgery and respond well to physiotherapy.
Osteoarthritis
Osteoarthritis is the most common joint condition in India. Exercise — not rest — is the most effective treatment. We help you build the strength and capacity to live actively with OA.
Back & Spine
Back Pain
Chronic and recurring back pain is rarely just a structural problem. At Stance, we look at load capacity, movement habits, and muscle function — not just what an MRI shows.
Sciatica
Sciatica describes pain travelling along the sciatic nerve pathway — from the lower back through the buttock and down the leg. The source is almost always in the spine or piriformis, and most cases resolve with the right approach.
Slipped Disc (Disc Herniation)
A slipped disc — more accurately, a disc herniation — sounds alarming, but the vast majority of cases resolve with good physiotherapy and graded exercise. Surgery is rarely the first option.
Shoulder
Shoulder Pain
Shoulder pain during overhead activity, at night, or during gym work is a common presentation at Stance. We distinguish between structural and movement-based causes before designing your programme.
Frozen Shoulder
Frozen shoulder (adhesive capsulitis) is one of the most painful and limiting shoulder conditions — but with the right approach at the right stage, recovery is achievable.
Rotator Cuff Injury
Rotator cuff injuries range from tendinopathy to partial and full tears. Most respond to structured strengthening — even partial tears often avoid surgery with the right rehab.
Neck
Neck Pain
Neck pain — whether from desk work, poor posture, or a specific injury — responds well to a targeted combination of manual therapy, strength work, and movement re-education.
Cervical Spondylosis
Cervical spondylosis is age-related wear in the neck, but wear on imaging doesn't equal pain or disability. We help you build the capacity to live and move well alongside it.
Ankle & Foot
Plantar Fasciitis
Plantar fasciitis — heel pain that is worst in the morning — is extremely common in runners and active adults. It responds very well to a structured loading programme.
Ankle Sprain
Ankle sprains are the most commonly under-rehabilitated sports injury — and the most commonly re-injured as a result. Complete rehab including strength and proprioception work is essential for a confident return to sport.
Achilles Tendinopathy
Achilles tendinopathy — pain at the back of the heel or mid-tendon — is the classic overuse injury for runners. Heavy slow resistance loading is the gold-standard treatment, and we deliver it precisely.
