How we treat shoulder instability

We assess shoulder strength, control and confidence across the range of motion. Rehabilitation progressively builds rotator cuff and scapular stability through positions that challenge the shoulder in a controlled way.

Common symptoms

  • A feeling that the shoulder may slip or give way
  • Apprehension during overhead or end-range movements
  • Repeated episodes of subluxation or dislocation
  • Weakness or fatigue with sustained arm activity
